Trading decisions

Most investors still keep the 2008 crisis in mind when making investment decisions, suggesting that the equity market rally still legs since investors are still hesitant to commit fully to equities.

Investors are relatively unconcerned about technical glitches in the market, which makes blanket newspaper coverage of such stories as the Facebook IPO snafu, and the 2010 flash crash, misguided.

But they are largely concerned with insider trading, indicating that the SEC would do well to continue to use high tech surveillance and other mean to root out such instances.
